The vg-lab group (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid - Spain) has a long history of work in the field of visualization and interactive exploratory analysis. Among the currently active projects, it is worth mentioning its participation in the Human Brain Project (FET Flagship H2020) since its beginning in 2013, as well as in the Cajal Blue Brain, the Spanish branch of the Blue Brain project, designing visualization techniques that help neuroscientists in the analysis and debugging of models and results using interactive tools, as well as developing material for communication and dissemination of the acquired knowledge. The group research activity is currently focused on the development of new analytical visualization methods capable of coping with the complex datasets that new hardware, simulation techniques, supercomputing environments, user communities, etc. are constantly providing, within a wide diversity of application areas.
The candidate will join the research group and contribute to the development of interactive visualization tools for the exploration of complex data within a wide diversity of application areas. He/she will work in collaboration with engineers, PhD students and PhDs of the research group and will coordinate with other international groups and end users.
